The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) reported in its 2019-2028 Agricultural Outlook that strong growth opportunities are anticipated in high value fruit and vegetable crops throughout Latin America and the Caribbean within the decade. As demand for fresh produce from these regions increases, so does the need for refined data insight tools for growers and distributors alike. The Croptracker team is excited to facilitate enhanced efficiency and regulatory compliance to the South American fruit and vegetable market – particularly through our Harvest Quality Vision system that produces pre-sorting harvest insights without the huge, costly packline.
Breaking into new markets requires the right team members and resources. To empower Spanish speaking users of Croptracker’s farm management ERP and computer vision tools, we’ve launched a new translation initiative for all of our SaaS products, enabled by our new multilingual Director of Sales, Rossana Constant.
Welcoming Rossana to Croptracker
Our new Director of Sales Rossana Constant is a leader in technical sales and new market expansion. Proficient in Spanish, Portuguese, French, and English, Rossana has facilitated sales and translation writing all around the world. Her previous involvement in forestry, heavy machinery and consumer goods industries offers a versatile perspective that readily transfers over to the agtech landscape.
Since joining the team, Rossana has started tackling Croptracker’s app translation project, and is looking forward to sharing the Spanish version of Harvest Quality Vision with farms and fruit distributors throughout South America and beyond. "I am really proud to join Croptracker, with a team of talented and visionary professionals that are making a difference within the farm management software ecosystem. I'm eager to present to the Latin American growers a great tool to simplify their operations – Harvest Quality Vision – that offers a rapid and objective way to monitor harvest sample conditions.
We’re thrilled to welcome Rossana to our small but mighty team. Being able to offer services in more languages not only expands our market reach, but lets us better support our current customers. The in-app Spanish translation rollout has kicked off with Harvest Quality Vision, and will cover the remaining ERP modules later this year.
